What signage materials do you offer?
Creation Art fabricates acrylic (cast and extruded), aluminium composite panel (ACP), 316-grade stainless steel, powder-coated mild steel, LED lightbox, wooden signage (chengal, balau, teak), LED neon, and printed vinyl wall murals. Different materials suit different use cases, our team recommends the right material during your site evaluation based on location, budget, and lifespan needs.
Do I need URA or BCA approval for my signage?
Interior signage inside your rented unit generally does not need URA approval. External signage on the building facade, projecting signs, and signs on conservation buildings usually do. Any lit sign connected to mains power needs installation by a BCA-Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW). We handle both the URA permit process and LEW installation when needed.
How long does it take to make a custom signboard?
A typical custom signage project takes 2 to 4 weeks from first enquiry to installed sign, broken down as: 3 to 5 days for on-site evaluation and design mockups, 5 to 10 working days for workshop fabrication, and half a day to a full day for installation. Rush projects can be completed faster if the workshop has capacity.
Do you install the signage yourself?
Yes. Our own installation team handles every install we quote for, in Singapore. We are BCA-LEW licensed for electrical installs and carry public liability insurance for on-site work, including installs that need scaffolding or a boom lift for high facades.
What is the warranty on your signage?
Standard warranty is 12 months on fabrication and 6 months on installation, provided in writing on the quote. LED lighting inside lightboxes and neon signage typically lasts 50,000+ hours (roughly 10 to 15 years of nightly use), with drivers rated for 5 to 8 years.
